Utsava Maa ™ is a unique event that celebrates The Mago, Creator of our Universe. Women from all phases of life come together to explore the territories of divinity, ecology, and creativity.
The festival offers opportunities for personal and collective growth through lectures, workshops, yoga, performances, puja and integration with diverse, local culture. The format is a balanced combination of celebration and conference, wild or organized deference together with spontaneous and structured learning experiences.
The festival will empower and inspire international and local peoples through the exploration of female divinity, ecology and creativity. With leadership of independent offshoot projects around the world, opportunities to take the stage and share is offered to veteran change agents, as well as women new to their goddess work.
Utsava Maa can be hosted in any community. It is of paramount importance that women from around the world take up the responsibility of acting as stewards for the Earth’s wildlands, wild beings and wild selves. As a network of women across the globe, we seek to preserve Earth’s living ecosystems, by striving for an equal, just and naturally balanced society which ensures and defends the health, freedom and interconnectedness of all sentient beings and the natural systems we were delivered into, as guardians, healers and protectors.
The path to progress follows twin energies: spirituality and eco activism. Spirituality leads to the realization that we are a human family within a greater ecosystem, a world, a cosmos. Once we understand this, we cannot forgive injustice and violence, or turn a blind eye to the suffering of others. From spiritual awakening, a straight line leads to compassionate action.
