The Red Tent is the heart of the festival grounds, shifting in form and spirit throughout the day. In the mornings, it serves as the main stage and gathering place for talks and workshops. As the midday heat rises, it becomes a sanctuary for restcooled and quiet, offering a space for stillness. By afternoon, it transforms again, welcoming connection through shared fruit, juice, and spontaneous conversation.
Come evening, the tent pulses with performance: village theatre, folk dance, and traditional music unfold under soft lighting. And by night, it becomes a celebratory space where women of all backgrounds move together in rhythm, sharing dances and stories beneath the stars. Sponsorship covers the tent structure, installation and takedown labour, staging, and sound.
